Privacy Policy — Cindra: Steel & Shadows

This policy explains how the app Cindra: Steel & Shadows ("the Game") handles your information. Built by an independent developer, the Game is designed to respect your privacy: it runs 100% offline and requires no account to play.

1. Data the Game does NOT collect

• We do not collect location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera.
• We show no ads and use no advertising networks.
• We use no analytics tools or third-party trackers.
• There are no in-app purchases.

2. Data stored only on your device

By default, all your progress — heroes, items, achievements, settings and statistics — is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you use the optional features below. Uninstalling the Game deletes it. The "Export progress" feature generates a code that stays under your control — we never receive that code.

3. Optional sign-in and online leaderboard (Google / Facebook + Firebase)

The Game offers, entirely optionally, signing in with a Google or Facebook account. This is used to join the online leaderboard and to sync your save to the cloud. If you do not sign in, none of this is collected.

If you choose to sign in, we use Google's Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, and process:

• Account identifier (UID) and display name — to show who you are on the leaderboard;
• Email and profile photo — provided by the sign-in provider, used to identify your account;
• Game progress (such as hero level and deepest floor reached) — sent to the leaderboard and cloud save.

This data is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) and stored on Google/Firebase infrastructure. The leaderboard publicly shows your display name and score to other players.

4. Legal basis and purpose

We process this data based on your consent, given when you choose to sign in. The sole purpose is to provide the competitive leaderboard and progress sync. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.

5. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. The only third party involved is Google/Firebase, acting as infrastructure provider (authentication and database). See the Firebase privacy policy.

6. Your rights and data deletion

You can sign out within the Game at any time. To request deletion of your leaderboard and cloud-save data, email adelgelima@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion — Cindra". We will honor the request within a reasonable time. Data stored only on your device can be erased by uninstalling the Game.

7. Children

The Game is intended for users aged 13+ and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe this has happened, contact us for removal.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
